Happy List.

Stolen from rockstar diaries, I wanted to make my own list of things that make me happy.

1. when a kid all of a sudden "gets it," and the excitement that brings to me as a future teacher

2. slowly chipping away at my summer reading list

3. when a nail polish color looks better than expected on my actual fingernails

4. the hum of the ceiling fan

5. going through my "Andrew" box and remembering all the exciting times together

6. the perfect find at a thrift store

7. planting flowers

8. noticing, more and more everyday, the resemblance between my mother and myself

9. taking walks for no reason

10. turning off the cell phone for a day and relishing in the independence

there are so many little things that i love, it's hard to choose just ten. but there they are :)

Tomorrow, I head to Kingwood to help Andrew's brother and sister-in-law and little nephew Aiden move into their new home, then to my house for a bbq on Monday.
